Surrounded by white poplar trees.
The badgers are most active at dawn and dusk, but we have seen a female and 2 by "Coppice" at 3p.m.
They like peanuts.
They have been seen again dragging straw from a neighbouring field over the lane and back to their Setts. (March 2013.)
Setts near the lower pitches (Sett and Bulbs, near the badger hide)
and upper pitches (near Strawberry Fields.)
mind you don't trip into the holes.
Other animals in the woodland:-
Hare - pops up all over top and lower pitches.
Deer - roe deer, often in twos or threes.
