21.12.2023 (Camping shelters) Your own beds, wood, cookers, pots and pans for Camping Cabins

Construct Hire (Not Glamping, these are stripped back to basic Wooden Shelters, Bothie like Barns) To Bring:- 1. Mattresses and bedding, camping chairs. 2. Your own wood, etc. for the wood stoves, ( no collecting wood though,) 3. Camping gas and cooker. 4. crockery and utensils. kettle mugs, pans, tea-towel, J-cloths, hand towel, wash up brush, torch and lantern, water, black bags for rubbish removal, etc. 6. On departure, Remember to take all rubbish home with you. Keys in cottage letterbox on double wooden gates Put wooden flag ( okay spoon) up. Thanks

Booking for regulars

We cannot take dogs, newcomers, groups, visitors or drop offs. Only a single family of regulars. Very limited availability. When enquiring, please include the last 3 or 4 dates and where you pitched, along with acknowledging you can cope with the new conditions, like taking rubbish home, etc.,

Prices and dates

Phone 07957 264 805. Regulars only :-Tents and Wooden Shelters, May to August. Last Check-in 4p.m (beat bridge traffic) for initial arrivals. Tenters - 1st night - £8 all ages. £8 per car. £4 Motorbike. 2nd night on -Car free. pre-teens and babies half price from 2nd night. Camp fires/wood - Bring your own wood. (Foraging for wood is not allowed). Camp structures - Preferred minimum hire 2 night:- Minimum 1st night occupancy charge, (see individual cabin hire information below.) 2nd night concessions. Basically £20 per person per night. Bring your own mattress and bedding, cutlery, crockery, pans, gas and cook stove, etc. The buildings will only have basic table, wood chairs or benches. Please leave it tidy.

Facilities and what to bring

No motorhomes/caravans or campervans No party groups. No visitors. No dogs, No gathering wood. Bring rubbish bags, toilet bin liner for sanitary waste, etc. Limited rustic facilities:- Compost toilets - please bring own toilet tissue or bio degradable wipes. a refil water container. No hot water or showers (sports centre 2 miles.) No WiFi. Just back to nature. All rubbish:- Please take your tins, bottles and all rubbish home as we can no longer recycle your waste, including toilet bin waste.

Downsizing

For a few years we have reduced the number of tent pitches and toilets we have to maintain. Anything you can do to help, like bringing your own logs or toilet tent, beds and bedding, or gas and stove for the cabins is great. (UKCampsite.co.uk do not have our permission to list us without our blog showing up to date information. There may be other listing sites that are still displaying out of date information.) This blog superscedes all listing sites.
